2. General information on data processing

The protection of your personal data is important to us. Personal data is any information that can be used to identify you personally.

When you visit this website, we process personal data only to the extent necessary for the secure and proper operation of the website, or where you yourself use a corresponding function or contact us.

Your usage behaviour is not analysed for advertising or marketing purposes.

3. Hosting and server log files

When this website is accessed, the web server processes technically necessary data in so-called server log files. This may include in particular:

  • the IP address of the accessing device,
  • the date and time of access,
  • the page or file accessed,
  • the referrer URL,
  • the browser and browser version used,
  • the operating system used, and
  • technical status and error messages.

This processing serves the secure and technically error-free provision of the website, error analysis, and the detection and prevention of attacks.

The legal basis for this processing is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the secure, stable and proper operation of this website.

According to the hosting provider, server log files are deleted after 14 days at the latest. Where technically possible and reasonable, IP addresses are anonymised after 24 hours.

Where required under data protection law, a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR has been concluded with the hosting provider.

4. SSL/TLS encryption

For security reasons and to protect the transmission of data, this website uses SSL or TLS encryption.

You can recognise an encrypted connection in particular by the fact that the address of the website begins with “https://”.

5. Technically necessary cookies and similar technologies

This website uses only technically necessary cookies or comparable technical storage and access operations, insofar as these are required for the operation and provision of the functions you have requested.

Cookies are not used for analysis, tracking or advertising purposes.

Information is stored on or retrieved from your device only where this is strictly necessary to provide a digital service you have expressly requested. The legal basis for this is Section 25(2) of the German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act (TDDDG).

Where personal data is processed in this context, the processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the technically error-free, secure and user-friendly provision of this website.

6. External media and content – activated only on click

This website may include content from external providers, in particular videos from YouTube and music players from Spotify.

This external content is embedded in such a way that merely visiting our website does not establish a connection to the servers of the respective third-party provider. No personal data is transmitted to the third-party provider at that point.

A connection to the respective third-party provider is established only when you activate the content by clicking the button provided for this purpose. In doing so, your IP address and technical information about your device and browser in particular may be transmitted to the third-party provider. After activation, the third-party provider may set cookies or access information on your device.

By actively clicking, you choose to load the external content and accept the associated data processing.

YouTube

If you activate YouTube videos, a connection to YouTube is established after clicking. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

Data may also be processed by other companies of the Google group and may be transferred to third countries, in particular the USA. We have no influence on any further data processing by YouTube or Google after the content has been activated.

The legal basis for the processing triggered by the activation is your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and, where information is stored on or read from your device, Section 25(1) TDDDG.

Spotify

If you activate Spotify players, a connection to Spotify is established after clicking. The provider is Spotify AB, Regeringsgatan 19, 111 53 Stockholm, Sweden.

Data may also be processed by other companies of the Spotify group or by service providers engaged by Spotify and may be transferred to third countries, in particular the USA. We have no influence on any further data processing by Spotify after the content has been activated.

The legal basis for the processing triggered by the activation is your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and, where information is stored on or read from your device, Section 25(1) TDDDG.

7. Contact by email or telephone

If you contact us by email or telephone, we process the data you provide solely to handle your enquiry and any related communication.

Where your enquiry relates to the conclusion or performance of a contract, the processing is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.

In all other cases, the processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the proper handling of enquiries addressed to us.

The data is deleted as soon as the purpose of the processing no longer applies and no statutory retention obligations or other legal grounds prevent deletion.

8. Your rights

Subject to the statutory requirements, you have in particular the following rights:

  • the right of access to your personal data pursuant to Art. 15 GDPR,
  • the right to rectification pursuant to Art. 16 GDPR,
  • the right to erasure pursuant to Art. 17 GDPR,
  • the right to restriction of processing pursuant to Art. 18 GDPR,

Where processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw this consent at any time with effect for the future pursuant to Art. 7(3) GDPR. The lawfulness of the processing carried out before the withdrawal remains unaffected.

To exercise your rights, please use the contact details given above.

9. Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

Pursuant to Art. 77 GDPR, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority if you consider that the processing of your personal data infringes the GDPR.
